More than walls, doors and windows, this is a place where we will all travel to a new port, bringing our vision, our determination, and perseverance to new frontiers. The CIT is nothing more than a tangible expression of values, history, and vision of UVG, to be applied through an educational model according to the times, providing the students with the tools to change Guatemala.
The commitment of Universidad del Valle de Guatemala –UVG- with the country is to invest in the design of new spaces that facilitate research, creative thinking, and application (Design Thinking and Making), which will be reflected in the new Center for Innovation and Technology, CIT.
The CIT of the University and its Campuses Altiplano and South Coast are places where Guatemalans will find a vibrant environment for students, educators, researchers, entrepreneurs, and industry to connect and collaborate. This space is designed to promote the spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship on the campus and the Central American region.
